Waitresses and Party Hosts for House Parties in Sydney
A private home is the most flexible venue there is, because you are the one deciding what happens in it. That flexibility comes with a handful of practical things worth thinking about first.
Every tier is available in a private residence, which makes a house party the simplest booking to arrange and the easiest one to over-scope. The most useful discipline is to decide what you want the evening to feel like before you decide what to book, because a home takes a bolder tier comfortably and that is not the same as it being the right choice for your particular guest list.
Practically, homes need slightly more thought about logistics than function spaces do. Hosts need somewhere to leave their things and somewhere to change, and a bathroom that guests are not queuing for. Parking in the eastern suburbs and the inner west is genuinely difficult, so tell us the situation up front and we will plan around it rather than losing twenty minutes of your booking to a circling car.
If you are in an apartment, check the strata by-laws before you settle on numbers. Guest limits, noise restrictions and common-area rules vary a great deal between buildings, and the constraint that catches people out is usually noise after a particular hour rather than anything to do with the booking itself.
How many hosts, and for how long
Headcount
One host per eight to ten guests. Homes run a little differently from function spaces because guests spread across rooms, so if your place has several separate areas, plan for the spread rather than the total.
Timing
Three hours suits most house parties, starting once guests have arrived rather than as the first ones knock. If the party will run late, a shorter hosted window in the middle usually beats stretching hosts to the end.
Which tier suits it
Clothed
Suits a mixed guest list or a party where neighbours, family or children are around.
Lingerie
The most-booked tier for house parties, and comfortable in a private home with an adult guest list.
Topless
Straightforward in a private residence. Worth a thought about sightlines from neighbouring windows and balconies.
Nude
Available in a private residence. Suits a smaller, closer group rather than a large party of people who have just met.
The venue conversation
Your home, your rules — with two caveats. Check strata by-laws if you are in an apartment, and think about sightlines from neighbouring properties for the bolder tiers. Both are easy to sort in advance and awkward to sort on the night.

Not checking strata by-laws
Guest limits and noise curfews vary widely between buildings, and the noise rule is usually the one that bites.
Forgetting parking
Eastern suburbs and inner west parking is hard. Tell us the situation and we plan for it, rather than losing part of your booking to it.
No space for hosts
Hosts need somewhere to leave their things and change. A spare room or a bedroom is fine; a hallway is not.
Ignoring sightlines
For the bolder tiers, have a quick look at which windows and balconies overlook the room. Close a blind and it is a non-issue.
Rates
| Tier | Per hourPer host, per hour | WhereWhere it works |
|---|---|---|
| Clothed | $100 | Works in licensed venues, offices and mixed-company events. |
| Lingerie | $125 | Private functions, and licensed venues that approve it in advance. |
| Topless | $200 | Private venues only, unless the venue gives written approval. |
| Nude | $250 | Strictly private residences and privately hired spaces. |
Travel. Travel is included when the venue is within about 30 minutes of the host. Beyond that a travel fee may apply, and because hosts travel from their own suburb it varies by who is available on the night. We confirm any travel fee in writing with your quote, before you pay a deposit — it is never added afterwards.
Questions people actually ask
- Can we book any tier for a house party?
- Yes. A private residence is the one venue where all four tiers are straightforward, because you are the one deciding what happens in the room.
- What do hosts need at a private home?
- Somewhere to leave their things and change — a spare room or bedroom is fine — and a clear answer about parking. Both are small, and sorting them in advance protects the booking time you are paying for.
- Do we need to tell our strata or neighbours?
- You do not need to tell them about the booking. It is worth checking your by-laws for guest limits and noise curfews, and for the bolder tiers it is worth a quick look at which neighbouring windows overlook the room. Closing a blind resolves it.
- How many hosts for a house party?
- One per eight to ten guests. If your home has several separate areas, plan for how guests will spread out rather than the raw headcount.
