The most underrated booking we take. A poker night runs long, the table does not want to get up, and a host who understands that is worth considerably more than one who does not.
A poker night is a service job before it is anything else. The table is seated for hours, nobody wants to break to get a drink, and the quality of the evening depends almost entirely on whether the room keeps running without anyone having to organise it. That is a specific skill and it is not the same as working a party.
The thing to brief us on is the seriousness of the game. A friendly table with money on it wants atmosphere and conversation. A table where people are genuinely competing wants service to be close to invisible — drinks appearing, glasses clearing, nobody talking across a hand. Both are easy to staff for, but they are opposite briefs, and getting the wrong one is the difference between a host who lifts the night and one who is quietly in the way.
One host handles a single table of up to ten comfortably. Two tables want two hosts, not one moving between them, because a host splitting attention across two games interrupts both.

Clothed
Works anywhere, including licensed venues and clubs, and suits a serious table where service should stay in the background.
Lingerie
The most-booked tier for a private poker night among a group who know each other well.
Topless
Private venues only, or with written venue approval. Suits a social game rather than a competitive one.
Nude
Private residences and privately hired spaces only, and generally for a small table.
The venue conversation
Almost always a home, a hired apartment or a private room, which keeps things simple. If you are running the game at a club or licensed venue, the usual rules apply: clothed is fine, anything else needs written approval first.

Not saying how serious the game is
A competitive table and a social one want opposite things from a host. Two words at booking prevents the wrong one showing up.
Starting hosts at the same time as the game
The first hour is setup, buy-ins and settling in. Start hosts an hour later and put the budget into the long middle instead.
One host across two tables
It never works. Both games get interrupted and neither gets served properly.
No food plan
A five-hour game needs food, and hosts can serve it but cannot cook it. Sort catering separately and tell us when it lands.

Travel. Travel is included when the venue is within about 30 minutes of the host. Beyond that a travel fee may apply, and because hosts travel from their own suburb it varies by who is available on the night. We confirm any travel fee in writing with your quote, before you pay a deposit — it is never added afterwards.
